Terms and Conditions – Bols Dentists

Service

At our practice, everything starts with personal attention. A highly skilled and dedicated team provides you with the care your teeth deserve. We are fully committed to making the right decisions for your oral health together with you. To ensure the quality of our services, we kindly ask you to observe the following house rules.

Opening Hours and Availability

Monday  07:00 – 21:00
Tuesday  07:00 – 21:00
Wednesday 07:00 – 21:00
Thursday  07:00 – 21:00
Friday   07:30 – 16:30

Our team takes breaks at the following times:
10:30–11:00, 13:30–14:00, and 17:30–18:00.

If you call during these breaks, you will hear a voicemail message. In case of emergency, please listen to the menu and remain on the line.

Pain or Dental Emergency

If you are unexpectedly experiencing pain, please contact our practice before 9:00 AM. In most cases, we can help you the same day.

Appointments

  • The dentist will inform reception of the next appointment to be scheduled.

  • After leaving the treatment room, you can schedule (follow-up) appointments at the front desk.

  • We work by appointment only – we do not have walk-in hours.

  • We aim to start your check-up/treatment on time. Therefore, we kindly ask you to arrive on time and with clean teeth.

  • If we run behind schedule due to a delayed patient or a complication during treatment, we sincerely regret the inconvenience. However, we prioritize quality over speed and ask for your understanding. The practice is not liable for any costs, fines, or lost income resulting from such delays.

  • After checking in at the front desk (via tablet), please take a seat in the waiting room. The dentist or assistant will come and get you.

  • If you are unable to attend or wish to reschedule, please notify us at least two working days in advance. This can be done by phone or email:

  • If you cancel too late or do not show up, we reserve the right to charge you for the time reserved. This can be up to 100% of the treatment cost. A first missed appointment or late cancellation will result in a warning. From the second time onward, a charge will be applied immediately.

  • We will send you a reminder of your appointment. This is a courtesy and not an official confirmation. Not receiving a reminder does not exempt you from your responsibility to attend.

  • From the age of 18, you are responsible for your own appointments and payment of invoices.

Costs

If the cost of a treatment exceeds €250, the dentist is required to provide a written estimate in advance. You can always ask your dentist for an estimate or cost indication. Rates are available at www.allesoverhetgebit.nl.

Payments and Payment Default

  • Your treatment will first be submitted to your health insurer. Any amount not covered (your personal contribution) will be invoiced to you. Invoices are sent to the email address we have on file.

  • Invoices must be paid within 14 days. If payment is incomplete or overdue, the claim will be transferred to a collection agency, which may result in your file being set to inactive.

Patient Records and Privacy

As is customary in healthcare, we follow a privacy policy for patient administration. This includes your right to access your records, and that we will only share your information with third parties with your consent. We also comply with the guidelines established by our professional association regarding the maintenance of patient records.

You are responsible for ensuring that your personal information (address, email, phone number, health insurer, etc.) is current and correct. You can update your details by phone, in person, or by emailing info@bolstandartsen.nl.

Safety

We treat each other with respect. Please refrain from physical or verbal violence, discrimination, (sexual) harassment, or other unwanted behavior. In cases of theft, vandalism, or aggression, we will file a report with the police.

If you witness or experience an unsafe situation, please report it to the front desk.
